What’s in a name?

When we were first putting together a website for the office one of the first things we had to do was to come up with a domain name. We quickly learned that a domain name has multiple functions. More than just a website address, it’s also a way to carry a message. For example, “cars.com” is an address that also tells us that it’s a website for buying, selling, financing and getting lots of information about cars. Similarly, “tennis.com” brings one to a magazine site loaded with information about racquets, courts, tournaments, players, rankings and most anything tennis.
With this knowledge in hand it seemed like this was a really important decision. Then we learned that a lot of the clever and easy to remember website address names were already taken. So we decided to focus on creating a web name that carried some meaning. That’s how we came up with, “YouNeedChiro.com.” Perhaps when some people first see “YouNeedChiro” they might wonder if it’s true, or how we can be so sure. Well, the answer to that is simple – everyone is better off with good nerve supply connecting the brain with all of the other body parts. An overwhelming body of scientific evidence demonstrates that the brain controls and coordinates all functions of the body and that a network of nerves carries vital information from the brain to every other body part. Precise adjustments help rid the body of interference with this essential life-sustaining communication.new logo small file
This brings us to the real idea behind our web name. People often seek our care because something doesn’t feel right, but a careful adjustment is much more than pain relief or treatment for a condition. Even though people tell us that they feel better, the adjustment does so much more. It eliminates interference; and family chiropractic care can be a life-changing experience when babies, children, adults and the elderly are empowered to function at their best. So the truth of the matter is in the name, people really need this.
Our mission: to strive to bring the highest quality chiropractic care to people of all ages.
Our values: gentle, precise adjustments based on careful analysis; provided sustainably and affordably in an open environment based on the individual’s clinical needs.
