Got Positivity?

This is a healthy tidbit from our in-office weekly newsletter:
It’s not enough just to know it’s important, it takes some practice. Most of us spent years cutting ourselves down at every opportunity and we can turn it around, but it takes time and effort. Like exercising, it takes more than a week’s worth of activity to turn us from a couch potato into someone who’s fit. But it can be done if you give it time. Like exercise, to gain & maintain results, we must keep it up. That’s where Positive Affirmations help: We reprogram the brain by feeding in positive thoughts over & over again. Try this: Every time negative thoughts come in say, “I like myself” out loud, 10 times in a row. This may feel really weird, at first. Eventually it becomes less weird, then normal, and then you start to believe it.

Note: The best part is that this becomes our truth.
