Giving voice to your potential

In chiropractic practice we focus on helping people express more of their innate potentials through precise adjustments. In my private life I try to make good choices too, and one of those involves improving communication and leadership skills.
Becoming a member of Toastmasters has been a great step in achieving that goal and I am fortunate to be a member of one of the oldest and finest clubs. The Rock Hill Toastmasters Club is now in its 51st year serving this community.

It is my honor to be now serving as the club’s Past President. This year has been busy and fun. The club has just completed its sponsorship of a Communication & Leadership course for high school age students, which included the Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program. Our Vice President of Membership, Ms. Shauntae Jordan, CC (CC means “Competent Communicator” in Toastmasters speak!) co-coordinated the course along with me. Two weeks ago these fine young people completed their academic year in the course and actually ran a complete meeting of the Rock Hill Toastmasters club where they received the certificates of completion and gave their own acknowledgments and appreciation to the organization.
We always love to invite folks in to see what Toastmasters is like.
