In my\u00a0practice we focus on helping people express more of their potential through chiropractic adjustments.\u00a0 In my private life I try to make good choices too, and one of those involves improving my communication skills.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Becoming a member of Toastmasters has been a great step in achieving that goal and I am fortunate to be a member of one of the oldest and finest clubs. \u00a0We are in the middle of a year of\u00a0observance as the Rock Hill Toastmasters Club is celebrating its 50th<\/sup> Anniversary in the community.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Toastmasters Proclamation by Rock Hill Mayor Echols<\/p><\/div>\n

It is my honor to serve as the club\u2019s president this year, in which we organized several special events commemorating the club\u2019s golden anniversary.\u00a0 It began with an Official Proclamation by Rock Hill Mayor, Doug Echols; then a picnic at Cherry Park, with guests from the other area Toastmasters Clubs who participated in a humorous speech contest; and the capstone event was a free Effective Listening Workshop held at Rock Hill City Hall for the community.\u00a0 The master of ceremonies for the workshop was Lucas McFadden, CN2 News Anchor.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a busy and fun year for this organization, but we\u2019ve got more to come.\u00a0 Next Tuesday, January 18th<\/sup> will be a special guest meeting where the focus is to invite folks in to see what Toastmasters is like.\u00a0 So if you have ever been curious about it, please join us\u00a0at 7:00 p.m.\u00a0 We meet at the Westminster Towers rehab building.\u00a0 For directions and more details please click on our club website: http:\/\/rockhill.freetoa<\/a><\/a>sthost.us\/<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 \"Toastmasters<\/p>\n
